Self-care is something
interdependent with self-love. If you love yourself, then automatically self-care
works. It is simply, love that emerges from your inner soul for taking care of yourself.
When you are in depression, anxiety, and stress. It doesn’t mean that you
should take care of yourself when you are under such stress factors. When you
care for your body and mind in your daily life, self-care works.
The self-care in every person
will be different based on their desire and need. It is Caring for mind body
and spirit. So, take care of your body, there is a strong connection between
body and mind. For example, if you are following a self-care routine that may
not be helpful for the other individual to follow. Because, every person has
their own lifestyle. It’s not finding ways to relax , rather than taking care
of yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Ideas to Follow a Self-care Routine: These are the
things that I follow in my daily life to get out of stress and depression.
1. When you are feeling moody, go for a walk and just watch things
that are happening outside. It will give instant relief for things that are
going inside.
2. Plan for trips as per your financial stability.
3. Choose window shopping, especially exploring streets.
4. Dress nicely and do a little makeup. See your face in the mirror
and you can feel the goodness of that.
5. Call your best friends or close relatives and talk with them
about what you are feeling.
6. Watch a movie or web series.
7. Go to religious places like temples, mosques, churches etc.
8. Cook and eat your favorite food. Or else order your food
using the apps.
9. Go for an outing with family.
10. Find out your hobbies and do that.
11. Prioritize for sleep.
12. Do work outs.
13. Take a long drive.
14. Play games.
15. Take a coffee or tea and choose to sit in a greenish environment.
16. Develop a to-do-list and finish it.
17. Draw something or buy coloring books.
18. Go for meditation and breathing exercise.
