Sambar Sadam Preparation Step by Step Procedure

         To satisfy the need of protein and other nutrients for your baby, sambar sambar is the best source. Your baby will easily adopt to this food due to the smooth texture and taste.




Ingredients:

  • Rice - 2 table spoon
  • Moong Dhal - 1 table spoon
  • Vegetables - beans, carrot, beetroot, onion, tomato, potato, cauliflower etc.
  • Coriander & Mint leaves - As required
  • Sambar Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Jeera powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - a pinch
  • fenugreek - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida - a pinch

How to make Sambar Rice For Baby:

Step 1: Pressure cook dhal, rice, fenugreek and vegetables up to 4 whistles.

Step 2: When the steam is released, add all the masalas, coriander leaves and mint leaves.

Step 3: Add salt as per the taste.

Step 4: If necessary, add little water and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 5: Finally add ghee to enhance the taste of sambar rice.
